What this program helps achieve

Hypnosis is a powerful way to override negative mental/emotional processes and replace them with more positive ways of doing things. This is achieved at a subconscious level. With respect to Anorexia & Bulimia this process is all about overriding a negative self-perception, self-image and not eating properly. It is a multifaceted approach whereby the mind must first be restored back to viewing one's self in a positive context. This is in relation to not only physical image, but most importantly for how the person feels about one's self in an emotional context as well. I use suggestions to help rebalance these emotions and perceptions so the listener begins to view one's self in a much more positive context on every level. This is a very important part of the recovery process.

The other main facet to this program is to help restore natural appetite and proper eating patterns. Throughout the session I address the subconscious to not override feelings of hunger and to freely satisfy one's appetite. I also reinforce (especially for Bulimia) to make sure that the food is properly digested and that it is providing sustenance and nourishment. These suggestions become an automated part of the decision making process of the listener which help reprogram eating patterns and one;s relationship with food.
