Hypno-Analgesia: A Desensitization Process to Reduce Pain

There have been many successful studies conducted into the use of hypnotherapy to reduce pain levels. This practice is specifically referred to as Hypno-Analgesia and is very well documented in psychological journals and trials. The methods used for this, as well as my own training in specialist Advanced Mind Dynamics hypnotherapy, formed the basis for how I developed this program. The result you see here is a short condensed power hypnosis session that can be used during a busy day or at night before you sleep. This program can be used to help treat any type of pain from back pain, migraines, arthritis, fibromyalgia, injury pain etc. and is very effective when used over the full 8 week recommended period.

Creating a New Association to Feelings Of Pain

In the session I use some desensitization techniques which help dis-associate the pain you feel by comparing it to a tingling feeling. Through the mind-body connection this helps the brain influence pain receptor response by essentially desensitizing the feelings being received. Used over time, the hypnosis process continually creates a stronger new association, helping give you more mental control over your levels of pain. Additionally the process of entering into deep sustained relaxation regularly by using this recording is also very beneficial to balance the mind and body.

Addressing the Impact of Emotional Unrest & Stress

Another important aspect of this recording is the emotional factors I help address. I will help you find new ways of reducing the impact of things like stress, anxiety, and other negative emotions which as you know, actually exacerbate the effects of pain. By having a place to go to inside your mind where you can become disassociated from these effects is a very important part of the overall process to controlling your pain levels.

Reaching Sustained Levels of Delta Trance

Delta is the level our brainwaves cycle at when we are in the depths of high REM sleep. This state is also acknowledged as where heightened physical recuperation happens - which is why getting those 1-2 hours of deep REM sleep a night is so important. To utilise the benefits of this I have incorporated a very slow 5Hz theta to 2Hz Delta binaural beat pattern in the background soundtrack. This will help entrain your mind into a low level of sustained trance. At the end of the recording I stop talking and allow you 5 minutes in this level to simply rest and recuperate. This is very beneficial to help further balance your mind and body receiving maximum benefit from the shortest amount of time possible. Doing this is very effective to help instantly reside the effects of pain.

Instructions & Some Advice

If you have a condition where you have to deal with the effects of pain on a daily basis I truly sympathize with you as I realize this must be very hard to live with on a daily basis. What I hope to accomplish with you here is some relief - not a miracle cure. I want you to have a solution at hand to take your mind off the pain for a while and start making little steps at a time towards achieving greater overall control. The best way to get the maximum effects from this hypnosis session is to listen to it daily (even multiple times in a day/night) for 8 weeks straight. You may want to have one day week break, but that is not essential for this particular program. By following through this whole 8 week process you will be giving yourself the absolute best chance of making improvements. One last thing I would like to say is that it is a good idea to have a glass or two of water before each time you listen as dehydration can be a side effect from the deeper levels of hypnosis you will reach on this recording.
